Tokyo Hilton operated for 20 years and The Capitol Tokyu Hotel for 23 years. This hotel that continued with two names played a leading role in the growth of the Japan's hotel industry. It was a beloved hotel for many international VIPs, including world-famous celebrities like The Beatles and The Three Tenors, and closed its doors in November 2006 to the disappointment of countless guests but happily came back to life as The Capitol Hotel Tokyu, a new flagship hotel of Tokyu Hotels.
